College Students Promote Fitness for Life

More than five hundred second year college students from Philippine Normal University (PNU) trooped to Forest Club last September 4 and September 12, 2007 for a whole day of Eco Adventure activities. Dubbed "Promoting Fitness for Life," the outdoor activity was organized by Corrie Duran of Primacor, the accredited Tour Operator of PNU.   To view more photos of the activity, kindly visit our multiply site.

Guijo Renovated

We have completely renovated GUIJO, which used to be a mini-conference room. Now we have opened it up, and turned it into a cozy, open-air, poolside tea room.  

Teachers Take Time Out to Play in Forest Club

It was the Southridge teachers' turn to experience Forest Club's Eco Adventure Program. Exactly a week after fifty five Southridge student leaders participated in a Leadership Seminar in Forest Club, close to eighty faculty members spent a whole day of Eco Adventure activities last 27 July 2007. The teachers were led by Nicolas Galvez, Jr., principal, high school; Ivan dela Fuente, principal, intermediate school; Luis Francisco Amado Barrientos, principal, primary school and Jigs Tadeo, principal, afternoon school.

Real Estate Agents Train in Forest Club

Proplus, Inc. organized four team building sessions for more than 150 of its in-house real estate agents in Forest Club last June 14-15, June 21-22, July 5-6 and July 20. Cheska de Leon of Filinvest Alabang, Inc. designed and executed a mixture of conference room activties and outdoor games for the sales agents. Proplus, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Filinvest Alabang, Inc., the company behind the sprawling Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang. Both companies belong to the Filinvest Group, one of the largest real estate companies in the Philippines.

STC-QC Ushers in a New School Year

The new school year has just begun and already several schools have lined up for the Forest Club's Eco Adventure Program.   First on the list was the High School Department of St. Theresa's College, Quezon City which held its Leaders' Camp in Forest Club last 15 July 2007.  

BPOs Call on Forest Club for Team Building

Forest Club has played host to the team building activities of many of the country's top BPO firms. Last 14 July 2007, fifty-four members of AIG-Business Processing Services, Inc.'s IDP Licensing and Commissions Team trooped to Forest Club for a whole day of team building activities.

Sykes Asia's Team Building Weekend

Sykes Asia's Emerson Process Management Web Support Team was in Forest Club last 30 June 2007 for an overnight teambuilding session.   With Account Manager Janet Serrano leading the way, thirty four members of the EPM Web Support Team went through all the activities included in Forest Club's Eco Adventure Program. The teambuilding weekend was organized by Richard Creencia and Troy Velez who made sure to include videoke singing and night swimming in the list of activities.

Kita-Kits, Sabay-sa "Bay"!

Leather Collection, Inc. held its annual company outing in Forest Club last 8 June, 2007. Led by its chairman himself, eighty-five Leather Collection employees participated in a whole day of activities under Forest Club's Eco Adventure Program: from fun-filled survival games to competitive relays and races. Leather Collection (www.leathercollection.ph) manufactures and exports genuine leather goods, from briefcases and bags to desk accessories, wallets and planners.  

ING Bank Sportsfest '07

  IING Bank held its annual summer sportsfest in Forest Club last 12 May 2007.   Competing in a number of activities that are part of Forest Club's own Eco Adventure Program, four teams tried to outdo each other in bamboo rafting, hanging bridge, forest canopy walk, carabao tug-of-war and obstacle course.

Camp C.O.P.E. 2007

Forest Club once again hosted the annual Camp COPE (Children Overcoming Diabetes Problems Everywhere) last 26 to 29 April 2007. About 40 insulin-dependent children and young adults joined close to 30 doctors, nurses, counselors and volunteers in this year’s camp.
