Kythe 2010 Summer Camp


 Fifty pediatric patients from several hospitals in Metro Manila were brought to Forest Club by the Kythe Foundation for a three day summer camp last 28 to 30 May 2010. They were accompanied by more than thirty live-in volunteers plus many more who visited during the many activities line up for the camp.

 The camp activities included shirt and bag painting sessions, the Eco Adventure Program of the Forest Club, a talent night competition and a lot of swimming and bonding.

Kythe was formed in 1992 by two psychology graduate students of the Ateneo de Manila University to "provide pyschosocial  support to pediatric cancer patients.

Eighteen years later, Kythe is still going strong and already has affiliate hospitals not only in Metro Manila but in Cebu and Davao as well. Its vision is " to provide an improved Quality of Life for pediatric patients by uplifting their spirits and strengthening hope in these patients and their families."
